Our commitment to sustainability is shown through forward-thinking choices and small daily actions, with respect for the environment and a sense of responsibility towards the area and its communities.

GREEN KEY SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATION for all Delphina hotels, resorts and residences, awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). This internationally recognized certification requires compliance with over 130 environmental and social responsibility criteria in the hospitality sector involving guests, suppliers and staff.

100% GREEN ELECTRICITY from renewable sources, certified by a Guarantee of Origin (GO) issued by the electricity service provider, together with SELF-GENERATED ELECTRICITY FROM PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS used in the headquarters in Palau as well as the 12 hotels, 2 residences and 27 villas of the group.

STRUCTURES DESIGNED AND BUILT IN HARMONY WITH NATURE. Low-impact buildings integrated with the surrounding landscape and constructed using locally sourced materials.

SUPPORT FOR THE LOCAL ECONOMY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP. Partnerships with Sardinian and Gallurese companies in the creation of custom-made items for furnishing spaces with elegant Mediterranean designs. Artistic ceramics, hand-wrought ironwork, basketry and traditional fabrics, including hand-woven rugs from Aggius, a village renowned for weaving and natural dyeing.

PROTECTION AND PLANTING OF NATIVE SPECIES AND LOCAL FLORA to preserve biodiversity. These require less water, adapt better to the environment and are highly fragrant. MAJOR EFFORTS ARE MADE TO REMOVE invasive species and clean the woods and forests, promoting the regrowth of Mediterranean scrub and native plants.
